1.1. Registration is not required for ordering products. However, in connection with the order, customers can register to the FNG Shop customer register by giving their name and other mandatory information. They have to agree to have their personal data entered into the FNG Shop customer register. FNG Shop’s customer information is confidential and FNG Shop is bound not to divulge customer information to third parties.
1.2. Customers shall be attentive and careful when using the Web shop.
2. Validity of orders
2.1. The parties shall be in contact with each other by email, letter or telephone. Upon placing the order, the customers shall monitor his or her email to receive confirmation of the order.
2.2. A binding agreement of sale shall be in force after FNG Shop has emailed the confirmation of the order to the customer.
2.3. Prior to the shipment of the order, the customer is entitled, by email, letter or telephone, to cancel the whole order or parts thereof. Delivery shall have taken place when part of the order has been delivered to the customer or when the customer has been notified that the order can be collected from the post office in question.
2.4. FNG Shop shall not be entitled to alter the terms of the agreement after the customer has placed the order.
3.1. The valid price is the price given in the FNG Shop price-list. The price is given in Euros (EUR).FNG Shop reserves the right to changes in pricing.
3.2. Delivery costs are added to the order. For orders within Finland FNG Shop will charge EUR 8,00 per shipment. For orders within Sweden, Norway, Danmark and Iceland FNG Shop will charge EUR 12,00 per shipment. For all other international orders FNG Shop will charge EUR 25,00 per shipment.
Orders of over EUR 200,00 will be delivered without added postage costs. Orders that contain only gift vouchers will be delivered without added postage costs.
4.1. If products are in stock, the orders are sent within 2-5 working days.
4.2. If the customer expressly wishes to have a product or item by a set date this must be mentioned separately e.g. when ordering. With regard to deliveries, FNG Shop seeks to accommodate its clients and customers as far as reasonably possible. If the customer wishes to collect the item/s from the vendor, this must be agreed upon separately.
5. Terms of payment
5.1. Payment is carried out by the following methods:
a) E-payment using Finnish internet banks: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Sampo Bank
b) Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard
6. Returning items
6.1. The customer is entitled to return unused items within fourteen (14) days of receiving the item/items, not including the day of delivery. The returned item and its packaging shall be in substantially the same condition as when received.
6.2. Customers are requested to notify FNG of the return of items by email to email@example.com BEFORE returning said items. Items can be returned at no cost by filling the product return form of the Finnish postal service. Returned items are to be posted to the address:

7. Shipments damaged in transport
7.1. Despite careful packaging, shipments may sometimes be damaged in transport. It is therefore advisable to check the condition of the postal package upon collection in the presence of a postal clerk. If the package has been damaged in transport and if the items have also been damaged, notification thereof is to be made immediately at the post office concerned. After making notification of damage please contact our customer service department to agree on a new shipment.
8.1. In case of delivery of the wrong product, damaged product etc., the customer shall inform FNG Shop thereof within a reasonable period of time either by email to the address firstname.lastname@example.org, by post to the address Finnish National Gallery, Kaivokatu 2, FI-00100 HELSINKI, FINLAND. The damaged or wrong product shall be returned, at no cost, in accordance with the instructions given by FNG Shop (Section 6 herein) after claim or notice of defect has been posted. FNG Shop shall immediately reimburse any payment for said item/s upon receiving the returned shipment.
9. Force majeure
9.1.FNG Shop shall not be responsible for delivery being prevented, impeded or delayed for reasons beyond its control, such as war, natural catastrophes, export or import embargos, the rulings of authorities, disturbance in general traffic and communications or other similar reasons impeding or preventing FNG Shop from operating.
10.1. Finnish law shall apply to any disputes or discords arising from this long-distance sales agreement.
